How to restart the Data Stage Service

So, yes, as you might imagine I'm using Data Stage on a new project now. It is just as confusing and messy as It could be, and to top the bad adjectives, it uses in part the IBM Data Stage.

Don't ask me why.

Eventually, I had to restart the server, but the service didn't start as well, so I had to restart it manually.

Log on the Data Stage machine and using the CMD, browse to the bin directory:

cd E:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSEngine\bin

Finally, type:

uv -admin -start

Should do the trick.
