Sintoma: Ao clicar no botão ADD da tela “SPECIFY BACKUP” durante o processo de restore de uma base de dados do SQL SERVER 2005 Enterprise, o seguinte erro ocorreu: "Cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists. If you know that the service account can access a specific file, type in the full path for the file in the File Name control in the Locate dialog box."

 

Causa: As permissões de pastas vinculadas ao service account utilizado pelo serviço do SQL SERVER foram alteradas pelo administrador do servidor de banco de dados.

 

Solução: As permissões foram restauradas.
